Maroon 5, Future are left 'Cold' in new song

Bringing that classic Jazzy inspired pop track, that Maroon 5 is known for has a playful beat that is super catchy.

After the success of their previous single "Don't Wanna Know", Maroon 5 kept the ball rolling with their collaboration with Future.

The song drop comes at the same time that Future announced that he will release a self-titled album this Friday (Feb. 17). According to Billboard, the new song took the top spot of the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart.

Produced by Benny Blanco and Steve Mac, the song is about a love that's gone cold, as Levine croons that he feels he doesn't know his lover anymore.

Meanwhile, Future raps about love lost. You can't fault Future and Adam for sounding a little bummed out. But in the band's new single "Cold", he's hurt and confused by a woman who's freezing him out emotionally.

The band's fifth album, V was released in the summer of 2014 and was the last venture before the premier of "Don't Wanna Know" and "Cold".

The band & the Freebandz boss will appear on Ellen tomorrow for a special performance of the song.
