Here is How to Get Jio Prime Membership; New Tariffs Announced

With Jio's Happy New Year offer about to expire by the end of March, users who were used to the free data bounty on Jio were wondering if the company would either extend the offer or come up with alternate plans.

Reliance disrupted the mobile industry when it first introduced its Jio network, offering free data and calling to its users.

Once the user becomes a Jio Prime member, they would have access to extremely affordable plans for one year - starting April 1, 2017.

All of this will cost a Jio user Rs 499 plus around Rs 9 per month for the Jio Prime membership.

Moreover, existing customers need to enroll to this plan before March 31, 2016 to avail the remaining offers.

For prepaid users, the plans starts from Rs 19 which is valid for a day and offers 200 MB 4G data for Prime customers while 100 MB for non-Prime subscribers.

Rs 499 plan offers is same as 303 plans, but 4G Speed data limit is 60GB and FUP is 2GB per day. Check out, All Jio Plans below. In comparison, the Jio Prime plan will offer you 600GB of data for the same period. Rs. 49 (3-day validity) offers 600 MB for Prime and 300 MB for non-Prime users. Others include Rs 91 (2 GB data), Rs 201 (5 GB data), and Rs 301 (10 GB data).

Jio has launched paid prime and non-prime offers.

Non-Prime members will receive 2.5GB of data for 28 days if they recharge with the Rs.303 tariff. Altogether skipping recharges for a duration of 90 days will result in disconnection from the service.

You'll find the Jio Prime option at the top of the menu.

Besides this offer, the company is also giving 6GB of data and 248 talk time with the recharge of Rs. 248 and 6GB of data at just Rs. 148.

There are more expensive recharges too - the Rs.999 recharge, for example, has a 60-day validity with a FUP of 60GB (for two months) - without a daily cap. This plan will be valid for 1 day.
