Affleck Completes Alcohol Rehab

Last night, Ben Affleck opened up about his secret battle with alcohol addiction, admitting that he had completed treatment in a poignant Facebook post.

He said: "I'm lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I've done the work I set out to do".

The dark-haired hunk, who has Violet, 11, Seraphina, eight, and Samuel, five, with his estranged wife Jennifer Garner, made a decision to cut the booze for himself and for his family because his brood has "always" been his priority. He didn't have to do that, but he is showing his fans, his wife, his kids, his friends, and even his critics that he is strong enough to know when he needs to get help, and to be of help to others who need support.

Affleck, who shares three children with his ex, described the secret stint as 'the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery'.

Affleck first completed rehab back in 2001, checking into the Promises treatment facility in Malibu.

In a 2016 Vanity Fair cover interview, Garner said that amidst the hoopla around the divorce announcement, her focus was on her kids. I can not let anger or hurt be my engine. "Glad you have completed the road to a more healthy life".

Ben Affleck is coming clean.

If you were hoping to see Ben Affleck and Matt Reeves team up for The Batman any time soon, think again.

She's there for him in the good times and the bad! Did he go to rehab in a desperate attempt to save his marriage?

Now, though, it seems like things are looking up.

While many sources are reporting that Affleck is "out of rehab", we don't yet know what type of program this post is referring to. If everything works out, 2019 is likely the earliest we'll get a look at the Dark Knight's next solo adventure - and considering DC's track record thus far, we're still not all that confident the stars will align.
