Liverpool are now one point behind Manchester City in the league table, but the Reds have played a game in hand.

What time is it on?

The Reds will go into the game at the Etihad Stadium with Henderson and Daniel Sturridge still on the sidelines, while Divock Origi is doubtful.

"There is pressure and sometimes we are still not patient enough".

Former midfielder Dietmar Hamann has predicted a low-scoring draw between Liverpool and Manchester City.

"I expect them to press high at the start against Man City to hunt another mistake, especially as the Citizens will be a bit fragile and possibly low on confidence".

Roberto Firmino faces a late fitness test of Liverpool after suffering a groin strain after the win against Arsenal. City are in the FA Cup semifinal but other than that all focus can now be kept on remaining in the top four of the Premier League.

Klopp's team improved their chances of finishing in the top four, and qualifying for next season's Champions League, thanks to Emre Can's superb long-range shot after 60 minutes.

'That's the life of an outstandingly good football player like Phil, ' he said.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has issued an update regarding Emre Can's contract situation.

Liverpool are unbeaten in their nine games against sides now in the top six of the Premier League table this season (W5 D4 L0).

"For me City is the most hard team to play", said the Liverpool manager, who oversaw a 4-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium last season.

These two sides have averaged the most distance run in the Premier League this season: Liverpool (117.3km per game) and Manchester City (114.8km per game).

'We took a little time to find the cause, a lot of specialists were looking for it, then he was fit again and he got a knee in his back when we trained set-pieces. We have to do it better and that is what we are working on.

"We really have to compare the squads", Klopp said, via The Independent.

Speaking to the BBC, Lawrenson made his thoughts known by saying that center back Dejan Lovren is "on his way back from injury and although Klopp does not like to rush players I would want him starting at City". "We are not used to it yet, so it feels a bit odd".
