Trump Flanked by Nazi Symbols, Nuclear Mushroom Clouds on Phoenix Billboard

"I think a lot of people are feeling this way and I'm just trying to express what I think is on a lot of people's minds these days", the billboard's artist, Karen Fiorito, said Friday in an interview from her California home.

An artist/activist concerned than the US is moving towards "dictatorship" has created a roadside billboard in Phoenix, Arizona, depicting US President Donald Trump surrounded by Nazi swastikas and nuclear mushroom clouds that look like clowns.

This is the second controversial art she has posted. Instead of an American flag, Trump is wearing a Russian flag lapel pin. According to U.S. News & World Report, one side of the billboard has the word "Unity", on it. Fiorito included five hands spelling out the word in sign language.

A billboard that went up along a major street in Phoenix Friday is already generating strong opinion. The owner said it would remain up as long as Trump is president. In 2004, she designed another controversial billboard featuring then-President George W. Bush.

Continuing, Fiorito said her husband told her that he had received a couple of death threats, that they were coming to get them.
