'Baahubali 2' trailer creates a new record

The trailer for Baahubali: The Conclusion has been viewed more than 80 million times since being posted on YouTube and Facebook on March 16, further raising expectations that SS Rajamouli's historical fantasy/adventure will smash records for an Indian release in the US and in South India.

The trailer has garnered almost 60 Million views (counting) including all versions. "Thank you Rajamouli for this contribution to Indian cinema", Rakul tweeted. Now, Baahubali 2 trailer is touted as the most liked video in India, earning more than a million likes. The actor's earlier speech against Karnataka over the Cauvery river water dispute has worked against the film and its trailer. He said: "It's so satisfying to see this kind of response which I never imagined". In the map of world the film Baahubali is a sensation already and the second part is creating goose bumps all over. Prabhas will reprise his roles of Amarendra Baahubali and Shivudu in the sequel.

The North American distributor, Great India Films' Sudhakar Reddy K M, who with his partner Soma paid a record $7 million-plus for the theatrical rights in all languages, predicts Baahubali 2 will gross $15 million.

Director S.S.Rajamouli's grand visual spectacle "Baahubali: The Conclusion" aka "Baahubali 2" had its trailer released earlier this week.

Slated to release on April 28, "Baahubali: The Conclusion", which also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Anushka Shetty, Nasser and Sathyaraj, will reportedly be screened in the United Kingdom for Queen Elizabeth II a day before it hits the silver screen globally. Kamalakannan said: 'It can not get any bigger than this- my fifth film with Rajamouli- and will easily rank as the most cherished one with a historical connotation'.

The Hindi version is released by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Telugu version by Arka Media Works, Malayalam version by Global United Media and Tamil version by the T- Series.
