Mickey: Great weather for the first day of spring

Winds will stay out of the south-southwest, and increase up to 15 to 25 miles per hour at times.

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. East northeast wind around 10 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.

Today's Topeka forecast calls for sunny skies with a high temperature of 79 degrees, while rain will be possible here later this week. Northeast wind 11 to 17 miles per hour.

A chance of snow before 2am, then a chance of rain between 2am and 3am, then a slight chance of snow after 3am. North wind 11 to 16 miles per hour with gusts as high as 23 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Tuesday: Rain likely, mainly after 11am.

Forecasters predict a cloudy day, with a calm wind and high of 45 degrees. Southwest wind 9 to 15 miles per hour.

Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Wednesday. Partly sunny, with a high near 53.

Wednesday: A chance of showers before 7 a.m.

- Mostly cloudy Saturday night, with a low around 39. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 70. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday Night. A 30 percent chance of rain before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy skies will persist through the day. The cold front on Tuesday may cause enough instability for a few showers to develop over the area, but we don't expect any widespread or heavy precipitation.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67.

Friday: Showers and thunderstorms likely.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 50.
