'RHONJ' Star Kim DePaola's Car Used in Double Murder

News 12 New Jersey has confirmed reports that the auto involved in a double murder in Paterson on Friday is connected to "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Kim DePaola.

Two bodies were found in a auto owned by Real Housewives of New Jersey star Kim DePaola (left with co-star Teresa Giudice in 2013) on Friday.

The Passaic County Proescutor's Office is investigating and is using DNA to identify the two victims.

NorthJersey.com quotes Capt. Richard Reyes as saying, "I can't tell you why we are treating it as a homicide, but we are treating it as a homicide".

Witnesses claim they heard two gunshots before the vehicle went up in flames, according to the Mail Online. Both victims had been shot in the head, multiple sources report.

Chris was the one who regularly drove the vehicle, but he reportedly had a friend drive him to the airport on Wednesday, March 15. "I would have heard from him".

Anderson's frantic parents rushed to the scene of the crime and told NBC they'd been trying to find him. "We have nothing definite so we wanted to look at the spot". Sources close to the family say Chris became anxious when he could not reach his friend.

In a message on Instagram, DePaola says she and her son are safe, and that she is "humbled" by the outpouring of "love and support during this very hard time". A motive hasn't been determined, but investigators are looking into whether drugs were involved, sources said.
