Tomi Lahren: 'I'm Pro-Choice'

Tomi Lahren: 'I'm Pro-Choice'

Conservative news personality Tomi Lahren recently spoke on The View about her pro-choice stance on abortion, which is unusual considering her right-wing track record. "I am a constitutional, y'know, someone that loves the Constitution. I just don't think it's the government's place to dictate". "I can sit here and say that - as a Republican - and I can say, 'You know what, I'm for limited government, so stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well'". "There's not a lot of young, conservative women out there, and so I provide that", she added.

"No one hunts small deer", she tweeted, "this too shall pass". She continued, "I have moderate, conservative, and libertarian views".

We'll see how long Lahren's position remains firm now that her fans have become her enemies.

A number of conservatives have spoken out against Lahren's criticism of pro-lifers. "It's a shame you didn't have the courage to say so when surrounded by liberals", Mollie Ziegler Hemingway, senior editor at The Federalist, wrote on Twitter. There's only tension between believing abortion should be legal-which is all being "pro-choice" means-and the Constitution's prescription of "life, liberty, and property" protection for all if you believe that personhood begins at conception. "Gov't has a duty to protect life", Hughes said.

"I'm pro choice", Lahren admitted, calling it hypocritical to profess support for small government yet want to ban abortion. "The Blaze can not about me, me, me, me", said Beck.

The 24-year-old conservative darling from South Dakota now hosts "Tomi" on The Blaze where she has a following comparable only to President Donald Trump.

Lahren was criticized for the remark by a number of fellow conservatives - including Beck.

"It's equal hate from all sides for me", she said, laughing.

Also on Saturday, the Daily Caller, citing an anonymous source, reported that Lahren "will likely be leaving" the subscription TV service in September and perhaps even earlier.
