Updated 2017 NCAA Tournament bracket: Sweet 16 set

The third round, also known as the Sweet 16, begins Thursday night. Three favorites are laying less than two points, including two teams on the schedule that are facing a higher seed.

Three of the four No. 1 seeds survived the first weekend: Kansas, North Carolina and Gonzaga, but top seed Villanova is out after losing to No. 8 seed Wisconsin in the second round.

Basketball fans across the US tore up their brackets for the Men's NCAA tournament after a couple major upsets over the weekend.

In the early game No. 4 Ohio State is playing No. 5 Kentucky in the Lexington Region. East Region: No. 7 SC vs. West Virginia and North Carolina vs. Butler.

Here's a look at the Sweet 16 by region with TV times. South Region: No. 8 Arkansas vs.

The lowest-seeded team left in the tournament is the No. 11 Xavier; eighth-seeded Wisconsin and No. 7s SC and MI also remain.
