Donald Trump blasts the media and Russia investigation in early morning tweets

The POTUS is reportedly angry because, instead of investigating his unsubstantiated claims that Obama wiretapped his phone, NBC was more interested in digging into the obviously "fake" Trump/Russia story (So unfounded is the connection between Trump and Russia that Senate Intelligence Committee, House Intelligence Committee and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are now probing these ties). Todd said, "I think the biggest problem here is you have the president that doesn't want to accept the conclusion that Russian Federation tried to interfere in the election and that there is going to be an investigation in this, whether he likes it or not".

The president said on Twitter on Saturday that the American broadcast network and the moderator of its "Meet the Press", Chuck Todd, should instead report on former President Barack Obama's wiretapping of Trump Tower in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election.

Try as he might, President Donald Trump just can not drown out the constant drumbeat of news on the multiple investigations into possible campaign ties to Russian Federation. On Saturday morning, the president took to Twitter to let Todd know just how much, and he even dusted off an old nickname to do so. And in what way was the president himself involved?

Trump attacked Todd for his assessment Saturday morning and fell back on his preferred name for the media, calling it "fake news".

"Sleepy eyes Chuck Todd, a man with so little touch for politics, is at it again", the then-presidential hopeful tweeted in July. Known Intel official is responsible.
