She also gave fans a glimpse into the final conversation she had with her husband before his January 2016 death.

News. In her first United Kingdom interview in seven years, Celine was asked about finding love.

Dion's continued communication with her late husband (whom she met at 12 years old, by the way) may surprise many of you, but not those of us who are fortunate enough to have seen her Vegas spectacular in the past year (including Jezebel contributor Sarah Miller).

She said: "Touring the world is a big deal when you have three kids and travelling becomes problematic, it's scary sometimes".

'I proved to Rene that he was there for me and I'm going to be there for him; and I'm still there for him'. You taught me, you taught me well.

"I said, "I'm fine, the kids are fine, OK, everything is going to be OK". I am definitely in love with [Rene], married to him...

The Canadian musician is so devoted to her former flame, she doesn't think she will ever date another man, at least anytime soon. He's the love of my life.

Celine - who also has a 16-year-old son called René-Charles - revealed: "I organise myself to not feel lonely".

Grammy Award-winning singer Celine Dion consulted a portrait of her late husband and music producer Rene Angelil for a song. "I have never kissed another man in my life", she said. "I am definitely in love with him, married to him". A lot. I took a year off and I said, 'My living well is to be with you, it's not my career.

She's become famous for her power ballads - but Celine Dion is gearing up to take that whole power balladry thing a little bit further.

Celine said that when she was asked to contribute a song to the 2017 Beauty and the Beast soundtrack, she found a painting of her husband given to her by a fan and asked Rene through the piece of art if he thought she should team up with Disney again. "And the answer I got back - I don't want that to sound like ghostly or anything like that - but emotionally what I got back from that was, 'You have nothing to lose".
