Samsung Galaxy S8 And S8 Plus Launch Event In India

The best thing is that the phones can be pre-booked from 19 April. The devices will be available in the Nigerian market from the 5th of May, 2017.

The IP68 water resistance smartphones come with Hybrid Dual SIM slot coupled with 64GB internal memory. Subsequently, the move to provide customers with replacement devices too failed as Note 7 explosions continued prompting Samsung to call off the production and it was curtains for the Note 7.

New Dehli: Samsung Electronics Co Ltd that unveiled its Galaxy S8 flagship smartphone last month, launched the smartphones in India on Wednesday. However, Google has managed to fix them every single time, either by issuing targeted patches or by providing the public with a solution. Samsung Pay is also supported out-of-the-box.

Samsung's Galaxy S8 redemption tour keeps moving forward.

Kuo also notes of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 that Samsung is expected to unveil later this year and how the device will compare to the iPhone 8... This is because Samsung sells the Qualcomm variant of its flagship in select regions only. This should not discourage the Indian buyers. However, both these chipset have shown similar results on benchmark testing.

Both the Galaxy S8 and the S8+ are exact replicas of each other on first look.

And of course, Galaxy's biggest competition, Apple's iPhone 8 is also rumored to feature an interesting, nearly bezel-less design. The smaller size enables more area for the Infinity screen. These are bezel-less displays sporting a resolution of 2961x1440 pixels, along with the 18:9 aspect ratio. The displays have also been UHD Alliance certified to ensure reliability. It also comes with Super AMOLED screen. The phones will be available exclusively on Flipkart and Samsung retail shops from the 5th of May.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus specifications: The phones has 4 GB RAM alongside 64 GB ROM. This year, Samsung has played safe with the batteries and we have a 3,000 mAh battery on the Galaxy S8 and a 3,500 mAh battery on the Galaxy S8+. Both the devices have a 12 MP camera at the back with a f/1.7 aperture.

Both of them runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat and the smaller sibling is powered by a 3000mAh battery, while the Plus model boasts 3500mAh battery with fast charging on wired and wireless.

In a response to the article, Samsung reportedly told the publication the phenomenon is "not a quality problem", and "can be adjusted with the phone itself".
