Star Wars: Episode VIII

After being introduced to a whole new generation of characters in 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens, fans have been eagerly anticipating further developments for the characters.

The Last Jedi The Last Jedi seems to have been hit with another major plot leak, as the franchise fans have already started speculating about the last scene and the final battle between Kylo Ren and Rey. Johnson explained that it was mainly to make the scar less goofy-looking on Adam Driver as well as the fact that the scar is shown for only a couple seconds in The Force Awakens, giving them a bit more leeway to change it if need be.

It's that Kylo saw his scar, didn't think it looked "Darth Vader" enough, got in a Bacta tank, healed it, and then cut himself again in a cooler way. This is normal because The Last Jedi trailer has just been released and people aren't done analyzing it yet (and won't be for at least another week). The film follows-up and continues the story of the next generation of the saga as Rey, Poe, Finn, and Kylo Ren find their place in the galaxy and follow the legacy of Luke Skywalker, Leia, and Han Solo.

However, Star Wars: Episode VIII director Rian Johnson teased that some of the scene from the first teaser trailer might not be in the movie.

The film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern, Kelly Marie Tran and Andy Serkis. It had moved several inches on the character\u0027s face, now in line with his right eye.
