Tyra Banks Returning for 'Life-Size' Sequel at Freeform

No word yet on whether Lohan will return for Life Size 2, but it has been confirmed that the sequel will debut in December 2018 as part of Freeform's popular 25 Days of Christmas programming initiative.

The film, which has been in development since 2015, has been officially greenlit by Freeform, according to Variety.

Life-Size 2 would center on everyone's favorite doll Eve, and she's grown up. It was announced at Freeform's 2017 Upfronts that Banks will star in Life-Size 2, but there's a merry little twist to this sequel: It will be a Christmas movie.

Freeform upfronts took place today in NY and they revealed the movie's synopsis, as well as an idea of when it when it will finally premiere. Banks first played the role in Disney's Life-Size, which premiered in 2000.

The original comedy centered around a Barbie-like doll, named Eve (Banks), who enters the real world after a young girl (Lindsay Lohan) accidentally casts a spell meant to bring her mother back to life.

Meanwhile, Banks will also be joining "America's Got Talent" Season 12 when it premieres next month.

Are you excited to see "Life-Size 2" on Freeform? When she's awakened by a young woman, Banks' Eve has to help her learn to live and love again.

Banks will also serve as executive producer. During this quest, she bumps into the love of her life and suddenly heaven doesn't seem so great after all. It's been announced that it will be a holiday movie, so who knows? Everywhere Studios will co-produce.
