Baldwin: People Always Thank Me for 'The Trump Thing'

Alec Baldwin has hit new levels of fame with his notorious impersonation of President Donald Trump that's so good, The Donald hopes NBC will cancel 'Saturday Night Live' and put a stop to it.

"When I saw your Donald Trump, I think like a lot of people, I went, 'Oh, thank God".

However, there is one person who isn't impressed with Baldwin's newfound popularity. "Like I'm sitting in the room and I'm going, 'Left eyebrow up, right eyebrow down, shove your face like you're trying to suck the chrome off the fender of a auto.'" He went through the motions to the delight of the audience.

"It's not going to open the door for nontraditional candidates", opined Baldwin. And Baldwin said it was an exhausting process trying to ideal his impression.

In reply, Baldwin said his impression was "totally a caricature" and went through the motions of how he pulls it off. "You just pick a few things ..." Left eyebrow up, right eyebrow down.

"Shove [ing] your face out like you're trying to suck the chrome off the fender of a vehicle".

"My wife has a line, it's a wonderful line".

Tuesday was Tax Day, or "the day we all release our tax returns to the man who won't release his", Stephen Colbert said on The Late Show. "She'll turn literally to anybody on the street corner, 'Do you feel sorry for Alec Baldwin?".
