Nicki Minaj's New Video For 'No Frauds' Features A Familiar Face

The video for "No frauds", which features Drake and Lil Wayne, includes a lot of footage captured in the city.

However, when the Benny Boom-directed visuals premiered on 19 April, fans were surprised to find Minaj strutting along the bridge combined with shots of the Big Ben and Westminster gates.

She faced further backlash after asking fans which scene from the video was their fave, calling the Westminster Bridge the "London Bridge" in her poll.

The scene rubbed some viewers the wrong way, as it was filmed just a DAY before the deadly Westminster terror attack in March.

While another, seemingly confused about the timeline, wrote: 'nicki is sitting on the westminster bridge in that video with no shame that an attack had just happened'.

"The other London scenes will remain, but it's highly doubtful the bridge footage will make the cut, " the source told the newspaper. At the time, Nicki joined mourners around the world in expressing her sympathies for those affected by the terror attack, tweeting, "May God protect everyone in London. Sending my condolences to the victims' families".

@lcatlow added: "Nicki Minaj by Westminster Bridge in her new vid. too soon?" Some have expressed their disappointment that no one on the video's creative team decided it best to leave the potentially triggering portions out, especially so soon after the attacks.

The upset comes shortly after the star had previously claimed she would remove the clips featuring the site of the accident in the final edit.
