Emma and Noah top the country's baby name list for the third year in a row, according to the report.

The Social Security Administration has released their list of the most popular baby names in New Jersey for 2016.

There is only one new name in the top 10 this year-Elijah, the first time he has ever reached the top tier.

The agency's website provides lists of the top 1,000 baby names - nationwide - for each year, dating back to 1880. In Louisiana, Liam was the name most frequently bestowed on boys, with 276 little Liams. Noah sat atop the list for boy names.

Here are the top 10 Louisiana names in 2016.

For boys, Kylo soared from number 3,269 in 2015 to number 901. According to the Social Security Administration, Kehlani rose 2,487 spots on the girls' list from number 3,359 in 2015 to number 872 in 2016.

The name Adonis is also the number four fastest riser on the list for boys. Music fans will recognize Kehlani from artist Kehlani Parrish, and Star Wars fans will remember Kylo from "The Force Awakens". The royal family likely had something to do with this increase in popularity, or the 2015 World Series champions, the Kansas City Royals, may have influenced parents-to-be. The name Zayn made the boys' fastest riser list.
