Kane has no reason to leave Tottenham, insists Pochettino

Spurs ran rampant at the King Power Stadium, with the win ensuring that the Lilywhites had exceeded the Foxes' winning total from last season - and Kane took his tally to 26 league goals for the season.

The sensational Spurs striker scored four scintillating goals in the 6-1 drubbing of Leicester to move two goals clear of Everton's Romelu Lukaku in the race for the Golden Boot.

Mauricio Pochettino says he sees no reason for striker, Harry Kane to leave White Hart Lane in the transfer window.

"To be fair to him and the team, it's a very good collective effort throughout the whole season but we feel so proud of Harry".

Pochettino's men though did get a second goal when yet again another lovely passing move saw Alli play a great lobbed pass through to Son, who on this occasion volleyed the ball home to put his side well in control of the game.

"It's fantastic for him. His performances show that we are right", he added.

Eriksen has scored three goals in his last three Premier League games against the Tigers, scoring a 90th-minute victor in this fixture in the 2014-15 season.

Harry Kane scored four times as Tottenham produced another superb performance to sweep aside Leicester City.

Kane had scored five minutes before the hour-mark when Son Heung-min cut-back the ball into his path to give Spurs the lead and the Korean then doubled their advantage nine minutes later when he finished off Dele Alli's dinked through-ball.

Tottenham have played their last game of the season against relegated sides for two years running and this season they will look to do better than last season and manage to get a win against Hull City unlike what they did last season against Newcastle. I don't know how long he had an injury but he's still scored 26 goals.

"I've had my eye on the Golden Boot from the start".

"Like always every summer, it's possible that something happens [that is] unseen but I think we are so, so, so calm about our key players. Now he must keep going and try to finish in the best way", said Pochettino.

Tottenham challenged Leicester for the title last season, before eventually finishing third.

Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare faces talks with the club's Thai owners next week to decide if he will remain in charge and this thrashing was hardly the ideal way to sell his credentials.

Son got his second on 71 minutes, curling beyond Schmeichel into the bottom corner from 20 yards after Kane's pass in midfield to make it 4-1, before Kane himself took over the game. The only player to score more than three hat-tricks in a single Premier League season was Alan Shearer (5) in 1995-96.
