Xbox One Edition Goes Free for This Weekend

Xbox One Edition Goes Free for This Weekend

Microsoft has announced the launch of a Multiplayer All-Access event for Minecraft: Xbox Edition, running right now and all this weekend. Microsoft is also providing access to Minecraft: Xbox One Edition for free, which will allow all Xbox owners to jump into the action and find out what the game is all about.

The free multiplayer weekend means that if you or friends you have have games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Grand Theft Auto 5, Battlefield 1, Federation Internationale de Football Association 17, and other games like them, you'll be able to play them together regardless of whether or not you or they have Xbox Live.

This promotion is available worldwide.

Still, if you've not paid to try Live before it should give you a taster, and if you've not played Minecraft yet then. wait, how have you not played Minecraft yet?

While Xbox Live is an ideal service when it comes to getting free games and playing online with friends, that doesn't mean that everyone has it. The game sells for its regular retail price of $19.99. You don't have to build stuff, though.
