Does LeBron James Think That Super Teams Exist in the National Basketball Association?

On Wednesday during exit interviews, Kevin Durant dismissed the notion that the Golden State Warriors are constructed as a super team.

The Warriors won 73 games last season.

The Warriors are in a spot where it's going to take some maneuvering to fill out the roster. Shaun Livingston had a insane knee injury.

The championship this year just feels bought.

In making his point, he directed attention to the organization's drafting prowess and recruiting targets rather than just focusing on the fact that they have four All-Stars in himself, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

The Miami Heat finished fifth in the Eastern Conference when James announced he was joining them, when KD joined the Warriors, they had just set a new National Basketball Association record for wins in the regular season. He hinted he would opt out of a deal that pays him the maximum he can get in order to help Golden State's chances of re-signing players such as Andre Iguodala or Shaun Livingston - two key reserves on both title teams.

One year after the most devastating collapse in NBA Finals history, the Golden State Warriors are back on top as NBA champions.

"I remember the first day of camp and I walk into camp, and I didn't know what to expect, I didn't know what these guys were like on the court", Durant told reporters after the game.

"We make each other better and it's not about who gets the credit", Durant said.

"I hear all the narratives throughout the season that I was joining, I was hopping on bandwagons, I was letting everybody else do the work", Durant said. "Hopefully we can keep it going".

"The proof is in what we were able to accomplish from that point on in the regular season, being 16-1 in the playoffs, everybody being the best version of themselves and putting all the puzzle pieces together".

"Trump couldn't be more ill-suited to be president, because he's a blowhard", coach Steve Kerr said back in May. And different kinds of ceremonies and traditions that have happened around championship winning teams, we don't want that to taint what we accomplished this year.

One thing is clear - if no one can assemble a truly special team, the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy could very well reside in the Bay Area for years to come.
