Microsoft Might Be Making A Horizon Zero Dawn Like Game

Microsoft is recruiting for a game similar to Horizon: Zero Dawn, a recently discovered job posting reveals. What's more likely is that the new title will feature a world ravaged that is in the process of rebuilding - or as a colleague put it, a post-post-post apocalyptic world (given what happens in Horizon). It's unclear whether or not this position has been filled or whether Roberts and G3D are still scoping out potential candidates but as the job listing was posted two months ago, many are taking this to mean that the project is well underway. But what makes "Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds" look promising was a scene when a thundering growl could only come from the beast within the frozen wilds, scared even those robotic creatures known as the "machines". The game has sold several million copies since its release and is now considered a must play for PlayStation 4 gamers.

"We've got to understand that if we enjoy those games, the business opportunity has to be there for them".

Let us know what do you think about this little rumor, and whether Microsoft's studios can pull of an wonderful open world RPG by commenting in the comments section below.

In an interview at the conference Hermen Hulst MD of Guerrilla games called the DLC very beefy. It could be that this new title is a more down to Earth, gritty title like Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Horizon Zero Dawn is available exclusively on PS4.
