Seth Rollins is WWE 2K18 cover star

What do you think of the decision to make Rollins the cover star of WWE 2K18?

It will be interesting to see what Rollins' cover appearance means for WWE 2K18's gameplay as well, as past iterations of the series have seen a story mode dedicated to the cover athlete that tells a story unique to their WWE experiences.

The live-action trailer is pretty cool, featuring a number of classic items from past superstars being ravaged and destroyed in cinematic fashion.

During his session on ESPN, Rollins talked about his long journey to WWE superstardom, and his love of video games. "Following in the footsteps of other WWE 2K cover Superstars - Dwayne "The Rock®" Johnson, John Cena®, Stone Cold Steve Austin® and Brock Lesnar® - I now carry the torch and proudly represent a new generation of WWE Superstars".

The only question now ... is Seth as dominant in WWE2K as he is in Madden?

But Seth Rollins made his WWE debut in 2010. WWE 2K18 will be available on October 17th, 2017 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. "I am the future, and the future can't be stopped". While it hasn't been confirmed for the PC, it's expected to come months after October 17 2017, the game's launch day for consoles. The game is now up for preorder with both a standard and deluxe edition, the latter of which will allow players to get the game four days early. He shared a little more information with ESPN about the games he plays and talks about how he is trying to lead his Chicago Bears to the promised land.

With all these achievements in mind, 2K has announced that they will be acknowledging both Seth Rollins' in-ring ability and accomplishments by making him the cover star of the next entry in the WWE 2K game franchise.
