Woman gang-raped, thrown out of car in Greater Noida

In yet another horrific incident in the National Capital Region, a woman was kidnapped from Haryana's Sohna town near Gurugram and was gang-raped in a moving vehicle for hours by three men before they threw her out in Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh.

According to the victim, she was kidnapped by three men at around 8:30 pm last night. The men then drove around in a Maruti Suzuki Swift and repeatedly raped the woman, as reported by India Today.

"We reached the spot and found the woman lying unconcious".

Meanwhile, a police team from Noida has been sent to Gurugram for further investigation.

According to news agency ANI, the suspects are absconding and an investigation is on.

According to police, they found out about the incident from a passerby.

On 29 May, Gurugram witnessed another atrocity when a woman was gangraped and her child murdered. On Tuesday morning, the police took the woman back to Sohna after completion of legal formalities in Greater Noida.

She said they started molesting her and took turns to rape her in the moving auto for at least four to five hours.

After raping the girl, the offenders chose to throw the victim at mildly populated Kiul Junction in Lakhisarai station under Danapur division of East Central Railway in an attempt to avoid arrest and suspicion.

"We have taken the details from SSP Gautambudh Nagar, Love Kumar".

Earlier on Friday in a similar incident, a 14-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by six minors and later thrown out from a train at Kiul Railway Station in Bihar.

The rape left the seven-year-old in a critical condition and she is now fighting for her life at New Delhi's Safdurjung Hospital.
