Tuesday's First Warning Forecast: Cooler today with a few showers

Heat and humidity will build for the end of the week.

A cold front and upper level disturbance will move into Kansas on Thursday and Friday bringing better chances of showers and storms to the region.

The severe threat remains low as the humidity will not be almost as high as last week, but some could contain gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall. Highs will only reach into the upper 70s and low 80s.

Today: Partly Sunny, Scattered Showers/Storms (30%). Friday looks mostly sunny and hot with highs around 90.

Warmer Friday with highs in the mid 70s to lower 80s with some sunshine.

Comfortable summer weather is expected across western Montana through Thursday, although a few showers and thundershowers are still possible. There will again be the risk for a passing shower or storm.

Tue: High: 87 Mostly sunny, breezy with isolated overnight storms. Tonight will be mostly fair with a low in the mid 60s.

Saturday will be hazy, hot and very humid.

Another cool night is on tap with low temperatures returning to the low 50s through dawn. Highs will stick in the lower 80s. We do not think the entire day will be a washout, but it will be mostly cloudy and any storms that do develop could produce heavy rainfall.

Fourth of July Forecast: Rain chances will remain elevated with highs in the mid 80s. If you have the day off Monday, it will be a great day to head to the beach as well as to any fireworks displays across being held Monday evening!
