Trump Arrives in Paris Ahead of Bastille Day Celebrations

Since being elected president of the United States past year, Trump has publicly commented on the appearance of a number of high-profile women - including a U.S. morning show host, whom he claimed had been "bleeding badly from a face lift" when they'd previously met.

The Bastille Day Military Parade is a French military parade that has been held on the morning of 14 July each year in Paris since 1880, nearly without exception. He then argued for "extreme vetting". As cameras clicked around them, Macron, Trump, and their wives smiled and embraced.

But if the president hoped he could sidestep Russian Federation on his Parisian sojourn, he was mistaken.

Over the past two years, multiple terror attacks have struck the globe, including on such European cities as Paris, Brussels, Nice, Berlin, London and Stockholm. Hadn't seen him in a while. The reporter asked Macron questions about Trump's policies first, but Trump jumped in before he could respond saying "You better let me answer that one first". None of that is appropriate, but I think the part that really makes my skin crawl is when he quickly decides, nearly before even finishing his "compliment", that he should really turn and direct his approval to her husband. He wouldn't miss it for anything. "It's called opposition research, or even research into your opponent", he said.

He looked the first lady of France up and down before telling her, "You're in such good shape". Macron resoundingly won the second round in May with 66 percent of the vote. Trump significantly walked back his alarmist comments about France's terrorism and immigration policies, but shed no daylight on who Jim is. "Those are very strong words. But it's very standard where they have information and you take the information". "And do you still believe that France is not able to fight terrorism on its own territory".

"You know what, it's going to be just fine, because you have a great president", he said.

"The presence of Donald Trump was natural, and I think it is important for the history of our country", he said.
