Disney is set to continue its trend of creating live-action remakes of classic hits and after filming live action Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast, the next in line is Aladdin.

Since we grew up with Disney films and we know the local and global entertainment industry well, we're going to help Guy Ritchie out here and give him a few options from which he can choose. However, sources said the studio prefers to cast a newcomer to play Aladdin.

The Internet, on the other hand, is also helping out. They have named Hrithik Roshan, Zayn Malik, Fawad Khan, Dev Patel, Ranveer Singh, Avan Jogia and Priyanka Chopra who can very well be cast in the movie Aladdin.

Filmmaker Guy Ritchie hopes to start production of the much-anticipated Aladdin by August - however, going by the media reports, surprisingly the filmmaker and his team have not yet finalised an actor to play Aladdin.

The long casting process, however, appears to be a good sign as it indicates Disney's determination to get the casting right for the iconic film. He will voice Genie, a character voiced by the late Robin Williams in the original 1992 animated film.
