Chelsea offer Matic to secure £65m Sandro

Manchester United have not made a bid for Chelsea target Tiemoue Bakayoko and have no interest in signing him this summer, Sky sources understand.

The Blues have been waiting for over a fortnight to complete the Bakayoko deal because of a knee surgery the 22 year-old suffered at the end of last season.

Midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah this week joined Watford, following Bournemouth pair Asmir Begovic and Nathan Ake out of Stamford Bridge.

Now Juventus are set to offer Chelsea the chance to offload the midfielder to a club overseas, according to Sky Italia, something which will be a more palatable option for Blues fans.

Manchester United are threatening to rival Chelsea for a second key transfer target after registering a late inquiry for Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The 18-year-old forward has been linked with Spanish and European champions Real Madrid, as well as Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona. While not quite the player he is for Bayern today, Robben was a big player for Chelsea, and Fergie would surely have loved to have had him at Old Trafford.

Earlier this week, United finalised a deal for Romelu Lukaku, a player that had been widely expected to return to Chelsea. But it seems Chelsea will have to make do with landing German defender Antonio Rudiger from Roma in a deal thought to be worth around £34m.

British media also reported yesterday that Spanish striker Alvaro Morata is now the focus of frustrated Conte's attentions after Lukaku slipped through his fingers.

The France worldwide is in London to undergo a medical and finalise his transfer to the Premier League champions.

Sandro has seven caps for Brazil and joined Juventus from Porto in 2015, winning Serie A in his two years in Turin.
