Talking Smack Cancelled As Regular Series

Talking Smack Cancelled As Regular Series

Opinion: I have no idea why this show needed to be canceled as it would seem to be as simple as getting a camera crew and finding someone to talk to.

Hosted by Renee Young, and oftentimes joined by Daniel Bryan or Shane McMahon, the show allowed both fans to enjoy the aftermath of SmackDown Live events by adding another layer to current feuds, as well as spotlight certain superstars who need the extra rub.

The Miz, the undisputed patron saint of the Tuesday night show, sent out honest condolences.

On Friday, the WWE announced the end of Talking Smack. Fandango, Tyler Breeze, and Baron Corbin were also helped a lot thanks to the extra time that "Talking Smack" gave them.

WWE released a statement saying, "We continuously review WWE Network's programming based on a variety of factors, including viewership and subscriber research".

As noted earlier today, PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE has cancelled their "Talking Smack" weekly SmackDown Live post-show.

Previous year the WWE brand split returned, and WWE debuted a new show after SmackDown Live called Talking Smack.

When 205 Live debuted on the Network, Talking Smack was moved back an hour and was taped during that show. That likely affected its numbers.
