The rest of their squad will be comprised of Leandro Barbosa, Jaylen Brown, Wilson Chandler, DeMarcus Cousins, Andre Drummond, Courtney Lee, Kyle Lowry, C.J. McCollum and Kristaps Porzingis.

Orlando Magic center Bismack Biyombo will play in the NBA Africa Game 2017 on August 5 in Johannesburg, the league and National Basketball Players Association announced Thursday. Luol Deng and Thabo Sefolosha are the Team Africa captains and Embiid will also be joined by fellow Cameroon native and former 76er, Luc Mbah A Moute. The event will take place following the 15th edition of Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Africa.

Dirk Nowitzki and Kemba Walker had already been chosen as captains for Team World.

Two Denver Nuggets players will compete in the NBA Africa Game next month in South Africa.

Mavericks assistant Jamahl Mosley, who is now coaching Dallas' summer league team in Las Vegas, is among the coaches scheduled to participate.

Including 2017 second-round draft pick Ognjen Jaramaz, who admittedly may be a draft-and-stash prospect, five of New York's current players were born outside of the United States of America.

The game is set to go down from the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg, South Africa, on August 5. All proceeds from the exhibition contest will go to UNICEF, the Nelson Mandela Foundation and SOS Children's Villages South Africa.

Team World took the inaugural game back in 2015. "Our return to Johannesburg this summer is part of the League's continued commitment to bring the authentic NBA experience to fans around the world", said NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.

Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown's action-packed summer will include a stop in Africa for an National Basketball Association event.
