Become A Super Hero With Marvel Powers United VR

Dubbed as Marvel Powers United VR, the game allows players to suit up with their favorite character and battle villains.

At D23 today, Marvel and Oculus announced the first Marvel game for VR: MARVEL Powers United VR.

D23 runs through the rest of the weekend. A short video was shown with popular Twitch streamers playing through a snippet of the game. Created to be played in co-op, the game allows multiple players to team up and work together to defeat enemies and complete missions.

Developed by Sanzaru Games, experienced in Rift development, they'll let you release your rage and smash the enemies and even team up with friends to engage in immersive, explosive co-op fights from across the Marvel Universe. You can play as various Marvel characters, from the Incredible Hulk to Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Aside from the allure of Marvel characters themselves, the multiplayer aspect of the game has the potential to help it really stand out.

There's a fourth character on the roster that doesn't get any air time in the trailer, a certain Ronan the Accuser. Captain Marvel sits at eye level unleashing speedy kicks and attacks. The good thing, however, is that it will make great use of Oculus' Touch controllers.

Marvel: Powers United VR will launch in 2018 exclusively for Oculus Rift.

As you probably noticed, in recent times the world is desperately short of entertainment based on the comic book by Marvel, so Marvel to the rescue and announces another game.
