New Nokia device with bezel-less design emerges online

Nokia 8, expected to be the most expensive of its kind so far, is reported to be launched at the end of the month, a German publication reveals.

Some have called it 8, others - 9, but according to this latest intel, the long overdue new-Nokia flagship will be called Nokia 8 and it's reportedly coming on July 31. The upcoming Nokia flagship is expected to run on the latest Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 835. The smartphone is expected to be priced over Rs 40,000. Leaks suggest that it will be available in two different models with 4 GB and 8 GB RAM but it looks like that the 4 GB RAM model will be made available at the launch event, which has a storage of 64 GB. WinFuture also reports that the Nokia 8 will come with dual-SIM cards in Europe, but the company is likely to offer the single SIM variant of the device as well.

Nokia 8 may come in four colors Gold-Blue, Blue, Gold-Copper and Steel Silver. The company will be focusing on online sales with the Nokia 6 in comparison to Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 which were essentially selling to make their presence felt in the offline market.

The Nokia 8 is stated to feature a Quad HD 5.3-inch display with a resolution of 1440x2560, but then again there are reports that a larger screen could be used as well.

That being said, it's highly possible that the main camera of the Nokia 8 may sport ZEISS branded high-quality lens. According to WinFuture.de's sources, the true Nokia flagship, a high-end model, is just around the corner.

With the Nokia 8 launch date in about two weeks from now, things are getting interesting in the markets.

Nokia 8 is sporting Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 central processor, which is used by leading smartphone manufacturers like Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, and Sony. Even more uncertain is the leak about dual cameras.

HMD now is busy with developing other phones too - a budget Nokia 2, Nokia 7 which would be mid-range and Nokia 9 that would be a high-end phone with ultimate specs. Apart from that, there is a high chance that the new phone will come with advanced Carl Zeiss lenses as the HMD Global recently entered an "exclusive" partnership with the lens maker.

Contrary to the rumors, the aforementioned smartphone won't pack a dual rear camera set-up.
