Prince William, Duchess Kate and children arrive in Poland

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be joined by their two children when they travel to Warsaw for the start of their visit to Poland and Germany. Canada, the Duke and Duchess' visit is being viewed as a Brexit diplomacy tour to help strengthen the U.K.'s relations with Europe before it leaves the EU.

The five-day tour of joint tour at the request of the Foreign Office is Kate's first trip Germany and the couple have not toured Poland before.

Kensington Palace said Prince George, three, and Princess Charlotte, two, will be seen "on at least a couple of occasions over the course of the week".

And as the young tot, alongside Kate Middleton, Prince William and Princess Charlotte, arrived in Poland, Prince George looked less than impressed at the prospect of getting off the plane - and hilariously stood at the top of the stairs while his father attempted to get him down.

It won't have any impact on the negotiations.

Prince William and his wife Catherine are welcomed by the Polish President Andrzej Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw 17 July 2017.

The state visit is part of the royal couple's unofficial duties as Brexit ambassadors, as they attempt to strengthen the UK's relations with Europe as it prepares to leave the European Union, and comes a day after the pair were spotted congratulating tennis champion Roger Federer's win in the Men's Wimbledon Final.

It's this mission the royals have pursued in recent months in various European cities.

They'll meet survivors of a concentration camp; veterans of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising against the Nazis; and some of those who were part of the Solidarity movement that eventually led to the collapse of communism.

The royal family will then head to Germany, where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will meet with Chancellor Angela Merkel, visit Berlin's Brandenburg Gate, and stroll through a traditional beer garden in Heidelberg.

The couple previously faced off in dragon boats in Canada - a race won by William - in America's Cup yachts in Auckland Harbour - where Kate won - and in a sprinting race at Queen Elizabeth Park earlier this year, which they both lost to Prince Harry.
