Sevilla sign Nolito from Manchester City on three-year contract

It was announced on Saturday night that an agreement had been reached between the two sides for the player's transfer and after undergoing a medical on Sunday the 30-year-old has completed his move.

Sevilla have sealed a deal to sign Manchester City forward Nolito on a three-year contract, pending a successful medical. The transfer fee has been reported to be about €9 million (£7.9m).

The report claims that they will also try to sign former Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic and Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma this summer.

Nolito failed to impress in Manchester City after joining the Club last summer from Celta Vigo.

"I'm insane to return to Spain, I'd like to leave Manchester City whether it's on loan or permanently, whichever way possible", he said.

The forward will pen a three-year deal with Sevilla and will link up with fellow new recruits Ever Banega, Luis Muriel, Guiodo Pizzaro and Sebastian Corchia.

Nolito had previously issued a come-and-get-me plea to Spanish clubs when speaking to reporters in May.

He revealed to Spanish radio station El Transistor: "I have learnt very, very, little English - It's very hard".
