Warm, sunny Sunday before possible hazardous thunderstorms and showers Monday


Tuesday through Sunday, showers and storms are expected during the afternoon and evening with highs in the 80s and 90s.

Monday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning, then showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon.

Tuesday and Wednesday: Expect partly cloudy, hot and humid days with scattered showers and storms and afternoon temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s.

After a sunny and seasonably warm afternoon, skies will remain partly cloudy overnight with lows in the mid 60s. Thunderstorms will gradually decrease in coverage through Monday, although we still expect spotty storms, especially over the mountains. Winds will be light and variable.

The humidity and unsettled weather return on Monday. Our sky will clear quickly leaving us with a lovely Sunday morning sunrise.

Tonight.Mostly cloudy with chance for showers and thunderstorms even through the overnight hours.

Mainly clear conditions are on track with lows in the low 70s. Winds could gust as high as 20 miles per hour. Lows will be in the mid-70s.There will be a 50 percent chance of rain.

The chance for rain will continue into the beginning of the workweek.

Wednesday. Sunny and hot, with a high near 101. Lows will be in the mid-70s with a 20 percent chance of rain.

The weekend starts dry under a mostly sunny sky. Thursday night will be partly cloudy. High temperatures will be in the middle and upper 90s Thursday.
