2017 iPhones to reportedly come in three colors

Kuo seems to believe that since Apple has made a decision to use an OLED display for the new device, this will trigger a supply deficit during its launching. (NASDAQ:AAPL) rumor mill today is news of the iPhone 8 not always playing notification sounds. The mockups give a look at three different smartphones.

Though a September launch is expected, supplies of the iPhone 8 may be constrained until the first quarter of 2018 due to an expected high demand. Reportedly, the famous leakster Evan Blass shared the "encased" iPhone 8 which indicates the omission of iPhone's typical home button.

As confirmed by recent reports the all new iPhone 8 and its "cut-out" top bezel had restricted Apple to only three color variants for launch in contrast with the six variations - black, matte black, silver, gold, rose gold and (Product) red - available for now. One can also notice the vertically-aligned dual-rear camera and the pre-dominant apple logo at the back.

Apple is expected to announce new iPhones at its yearly September event. That, in turn, would suggest that Apple isn't going to ditch its Touch ID fingerprint scanning system for the new iPhone, as some have speculated, but rather that facial and fingerprint recognition can be combined for even greater security. Unfortunately, users will have to spend extra on the Lighting-to-USB-C cable and wall adapter to make use of the fast charging tech. iPhone 8 could feature edge-to-edge OLED display unlike the LCD displays in the iPhone 7s and the iPhone 7s Plus. The lineup will probably include the iPhone 8, iPhone 7s and the iPhone 7s Plus.

Its indicator can also be hidden meaning that apps running in full-screen won't have a virtual home button to distract users with.

More details have been revealed about the highly anticipated iPhone 8 by software leaks from Apple, including the device's ability to mute notifications when it detects you are looking at it. The iPhone 7s Plus is seen with the traditional horizontal camera setup, the rumoured glass back that enables wireless charging support, and the display remains unchanged from the predecessor, with the home button still intact. That said, finding the code this late to launch is a good sign. Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below and stay tuned.
