Angelina Jolie reportedly 'calls off' divorce from Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt announced their split in September, with Angelina filing for divorce after 11 years together. Angelina Jolie directs First They Killed My Father, a film about the Khmer Rouge genocide in Cambodia. In fact, "the divorce is off", proclaims the cover of the latest edition of Us Magazine which is exclusively running the story quoting a source close to Angelina and Brad.

"They haven't done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to", the source said, reports Hindustan Times.

A courageous attitude which had deeply touched the mother of his six children, he gave the want to believe that a new start would be possible between them, as shown in Us Weekly.

However, it looks like Brad's efforts to stay sober have a way to go before their relationship is reignited, as source told The Daily Mail that the "divorce process has significantly slowed down but there has been no real change".

This is especially surprising considering the extreme measures Angie took in the immediate months after that plane incident involving their son, Maddox.

But perhaps this scorched-earth approach was a sign of how much passion Jolie still held for her partner of 12 years.

Added the source, "She's still so in love with him".

They got married in 2014 and are parents to six children: Maddox, 16, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11 and 9-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. "[This house] is a big jump forward for us, and we're all trying to do our best to heal our family".

Bard Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

In a March interview, however, she talked about her future and didn't mention Pitt. That is, without Pitt's help. But even this a year ago, you know-things I wasn't dealing with.

Reps for both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been contacted by DailyMail.com in regards to these claims.

Apparently, the reason given for the stalling of legal proceedings is Brad coming clean about his boozing in an interview with GQ this past May. "I imagine I will spend my days traveling from country to country to visit our children, who I expect will live around the world", she said.

"And it's hit me smack in the face with our divorce: I gotta be more". I'm very proud of them. I have to show them. "And I haven't been great at it", Pitt admitted.

A friend of Jolie's told Us that Pitt's determination to improve himself, including giving up alcohol, has softened her stance towards him.
