Netflix Renews GLOW For Season Two

Orange Is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan and Tara Herrmann executive producers alongside Flahive and Mensch who are serving as showrunners.

Kate Nash, Jackie Tohn and Kia Stevens the only actress with wrestling experience also round out the 14-women ensemble featured on the first season, which released its 10 episodes on June 23.

It sees Alison Brie star as an out of work actress who auditions for the show and trains to become one of GLOW's biggest stars.

This is published unedited from the PTI feed. The show's official Twitter account announced on Thursday that it will return for a new series of episodes.

Like Orange Is the New Black, GLOW, inspired by the short-lived but beloved show from the '80s, has been a critical and pop culture hit. And at the wheel is Sam Sylvia (Marc Maron), a washed-up, B-movie director who now must lead this group of women on the journey to wrestling stardom.

Netflix didn't mention anything about when GLOW Season 2 will premiere, but we're hoping we get it right around the start of the summer in 2018. If you didn't watch GLOW yet, well, what the hell are you waiting for?
