Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt calling off divorce

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt shocked the world a year ago when they announced their split after a ten-year relationship.

A new report by Us Weekly sees multiple sources claiming the former power couple, who had a very public and very bitter split in September 2016, have not moved forward with proceedings to end their marriage. An insider told E!

Said the US Weekly source: "Everyone thinks they are going to get back together". The United Nations special envoy for refugees had confessed to friends that she'd consider taking Pitt back "if he showed he was committed to raising a family", says a Jolie pal. At the time, the insider alleged that people in Jolie's inner circle were "running a smear campaign" against the actor, who was accused of infidelity and physical abuse. Lot has changed between the couple and the divorce is not moving forward.

Brad apparently "got sober to try and win her back" and that him quitting drinking was "all she ever wanted".

"Sure, neither Brad or Angelina are dating again and their relationship has slowly been improving, but there's no reconciliation on the books, at least not now anyway", the source added.

'It wouldn't be surprising if they announced that they're calling [the split] off and trying to work things out'.

Since their split, the exes have both spoke about their break up, including how it's affected their six children - Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight. Moreover, it was claimed that the said mansion which she purchased was near Brad's house in L.A. too. Calling the six-bedroom, 10-bathroom estate "a big jump forward for us", in the September issue of Vanity Fair, the Oscar victor said, "We're all trying our best to heal our family".

The Salt star and Brad were together for 12 years before they announced their split in September; the divorce has not yet been finalized.

However, there are clashing allegations when it comes to whether Angelina and Brad actually called off their divorce or are in a holding pattern.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reportedly may be maintaining silence on reunion rumors in order to protect their six kids. And Mrs. Smith in 2004 and married in an intimate ceremony on August 23, 2014 in Correns, France. Vanity Fair has refused to print a retraction or an apology after critics slammed Angelina for her film's exploitative and insensitive casting strategy.
