Premier League Matchday 1 New Customer Offers

Mourinho has added Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof to his squad this summer as he puts together a group of players capable of challenging in the Premier League and Champions League next season.

And his latest strike has helped the Gunners start the season on a positive note when it looked like disaster was looming for Wenger and his charges.

Although Wenger admitted that entering the new campaign without Sanchez is a big blow for Arsenal, he pointed out that the striker would not have featured against Leicester even if he had not sustained the injury. Alexis will not be available for example, so I can not go into the game with too many uncertainties.

Manchester City now lead the market as favourites to win the Premier League and it's not hard to see why with the additional quality they have added to an already brilliant squad.

"I know that it's important for him to play".

Arsenal is set to receive an £80 million (about $104 million) bid from Paris Saint-Germain for Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.

Arsenal may be close to ending one of their painful contract sagas after a report has claimed there has been a "huge breakthrough" in talks with Mesut Ozil, but Alexis Sanchez still isn't ready to sign despite apparently receiving another improved offer.

Arsene Wenger is hopeful new signing Alexandre Lacazette can follow in the footsteps of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and transfer his sensational goalscoring ratio into the Premier League. Although they, like Huddersfield, have been in the top division before, not since the early 1980's have they prepared for a season against the best sides in the country. "We are not open to any offers, anyway".

"At some stage, the players came to see me and said, 'What's going on boss?'"

'But I don't think I would have included him on Friday night.

"Not only as a player, he is a fantastic player, but as well in the group - he has a big weight in the squad and it was a relief for me that he made a decision to stay".

Asked if he expected Al Khelaifi to get in touch, Wenger replied: "No, no".

"I want the team to be on a par with the club's history, which is something I've been lucky enough to feel at every club - there was the same kind of feeling at Inter [Milan] and at Real Madrid".

"It will be hard, with the quality of their players, their fan base and the money that they can spend, but that's the Premier League".
