Now, granted, this concept might never materialize commercially, but if that's the case, why would Starck get our hopes up so close to the predicted Mi MIX 2 announcement?

World-renowned French designer Philippe Starck has always been confirmed as the artistic creator of a second-generation Xiaomi Mi MIX due out sometime this fall after also helping conceive the original "full display" smartphone previous year. The video contains a bezel-less smartphone along with the text that reads Mi Mix 2 conceptual product design. So this year in Mi Mix 2, Xiaomi is going to replace that feature with AAC.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will be powered by a 3,400 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 835 processor, scoring a standard score of 1929 on the Geekbench single core test and 6431 on the multi-core test. Quite bizarrely, the top bezel is empty, but the bottom bezel is shown to feature the feature the selfie camera. After the popularity of the design was apparent, other phone makers went all-in on edge-to-edge-to-edge-to-edge displays in an effort to reach the ultimate smartphone endgame: a bezel-free phone.

DOOGEE MIX is a similar looking smartphone, with three sides bezel less design the device looks phenomenal for a smartphone that costs less than $200 or INR 15,000.

The phone will also have a six-inch Japanese Display International (JDI) display and 95 percent screen-to-body ratio with an 18:9 screen aspect ratio. They are bringing yet another flagship phone into the smartphone markets to show what really have in store for us.

There could be two memory variants of the Mi Mix 2.
