Meizu M6 Gets Unveiled With 3GB Of RAM, 5.2-Inch HD Display

Meizu has launched another handset, with signs that the company is doing just fine back in homeland China. Nearly six months after the China launch, the Meizu M5 was made available in India in May 2017 for Rs. 10.499. The device will be available in a range of colors which include Electric Light Blue, Champagne Gold, Matte Black and Moonlight Silver.

The device is powered by Mediatek MT6750 SoC with octa-core 1.5 Ghz processor. The Meizu M6 comes in two different variants based on its RAM and native storage configuration - Meizu M6 with 2GB RAM & 16GB internal storage, and Meizu M6 with 3GB RAM & 32GB internal storage. The mBack home button placed beneath the display also comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Meizu M6 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS / GLONASS, among others. The new Meizu M20 features a 10,000mAh 38.5Wh lithium-polymer battery with two-way fast charging support, similar to its predecessor that was launched in 2015.

There's no word yet on when and if the Meizu M6 will be available in India.

The 2GB RAM with 16GB storage is priced at 699 yuan and the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version costs 899 yuan. The handset will go on sale in China on the 25th of September. The handset measures 148.2×72.8×8.3mm and weighs 143 grams.
