Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is getting Halloween-themed content

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is the next to don its Halloween mask with Willard Wyler's Halloween Scream, a limited celebration of the holiday with new game modes, special goodies, and cosmetic items. Free Hallowe'en cosmetics, meanwhile - including zombie ear (!) and gravestone accessories - will be given away every Friday, along with a bonus item on October 30th. The following day, developer Infinity Ward will introduce Boss Battle mode, which allows players to jump right into battles against the final bosses from the various Zombies DLC chapters.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was officially released on November 4, 2016, and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

Amongst all these Halloween-themed shenanigans there'll also be a return for Gesture Warfare.

Players will have access to a Carnage-Only playlist, a map within the IW "Retribution" DLC pack, available to them starting October 12th as a "free-to-play" option until November 1st, which will showcase a mix of different game modes along with Double XP. If you play the game on this map, you'll get double XP as well.

"When the Gesture Warfare first came to Infinite Warfare this September, Call of Duty fans found out that gestures are not only the means to humiliate opponents, but are also ways to kill their enemies outright", the official statement from Activision reads.
