Girl has adorable reaction to learning she is going to be adopted

She asked me if I would be sure to tell her sweet girl when she came to my desk for her daily visit.

Alexander also writes that she knows the family and has watched them fight to adopt three foster children that attend the school where she works. After more than two years, a judge gave the green light for Butterfield and her siblings to officially be adopted.

Security cameras at the school captured the touching moment.

"Although I knew she would be happy to hear the news, I didn't expect her to react the way she did. You get your forever family", Jackie Alexander said. She stated "I cry as I write this".

She said, "They are just caring, loving, take good care of me". "She simply held me more tightly and more tightly and I exploited that".

In a now-viral Instagram post, Alexander shared footage of the moment caught by the school's security cameras. Jennifer Fisher says "I just thought oh, my gosh".

"In 12 years at this job, this is by far my best moment ever!"

"It's the biggest thing that ever happened to me", 11-year-old Tannah Butterfield told KUTV. Little did Butterfield know, Miss Jackie (Alexander) had some wonderful news for her young friend. She said she was happy to give Tannah the news after there had been several setbacks in the family's case.

Tannah was so excited she immediately jumped on her friend and wrapped her arms and legs around in her delight. "It was like, 'Ah!' It was screaming", Tannah said.
