New IMAX Display For The Last Jedi Raises Questions About Luke Skywalker

New IMAX Display For The Last Jedi Raises Questions About Luke Skywalker

It will be available from major retailers and certain Etisalat stores from mid-November for AED 1,199, and the first 200 customers to reserve it in advance get the chance to attend a "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" private screening in December.

Rumours and speculation of a turn to the Dark Side for Luke Skywalker have been circulating since before the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Mark Hamill himself has even teased the possibility and even pitched to George Lucas that Luke should turn in 1983's Return of the Jedi.

The new poster arrives just ahead of the new trailer, which is expected during the Monday Night Football broadcast on ESPN. Accompanying the beginning of each Star Wars chapter, naturally, is legendary five-time-Oscar-winning composer John Williams' iconic movie theme, which proceeds to march forth over the film's opening scroll that summarizes the events before the pending space adventure.

The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson was also having a good time seeing the Star Wars community revel over the new preview to The Force Awakens sequel and the filmmaker made a decision to celebrate by jokingly sassing netizens with too many questions on Twitter. "I was like, 'Oh, this is part of the island; we need to find the Star Wars version of this", he said. "The Last Jedi" director Rian Johnson says if fans want to see the movie "clean", without having too much about the movie spoiled, they might want to avoid tonight's trailer.
