The game still isn't quite flawless but numerous bugs and glitches are now fixed. After several patches, Andromeda is a better state now but this hasn't stopped EA from putting the breaks on the series for the foreseeable future.

Dead Space 3's arrival, meanwhile, is notable largely because it means that the entire Dead Space trilogy is finally available on-demand, giving you the ideal opportunity to witness the series' disappointing decline, from sterling horror to bland action, first-hand.

EA also announced that Access members can try out Star Wars Battlefront 2 early as part of their "Play First Trials". The Sims 4 is also getting a play first trial only on Xbox One through EA Access.

Andromeda is not (and will not) story additions, so Access will post the full finished version of the game. Bring together a team of colorful characters, discover new worlds and unravel the ultimate secret at the heart of this unusual new system.

Origin Access and EA are companies known as providing discounts on digital EA purchases, Play First Trials and free playable games for its users. Craft unique rides, escape the heat in epic police chases, and go head-to-head with other racers on- or off-road - all before launch for a full 10 hours.

Few games generated as much hype in the run up to their release quite like Mass Effect: Andromeda, but everyone knows the final product fell very short of expectations.
