Law enforcement search for endangered OH boy abducted from crime scene

The surviving victim alerted police that 8-year-old Devin Holston was missing from the home.

Authorities still are searching for a suspect, but have canceled the missing-child alert for a 7-year-old boy who was sought following an incident at a mobile home in southern OH that left three people dead and a fourth hospitalized.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office says the three people were found fatally shot inside a trailer on State Route 93 in Pedro, a tiny community in a remote area east of Portsmouth. He was pursued by deputies after being spotted at about 12:30 a.m. on State Route 141 near County Road 52. A fourth adult found stabbed at a nearby residence was flown to a hospital.

Our sister station, WSAZ in Charleston, reports that the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office in OH is searching for 23-year-old Aaron Lawson.

Police are looking for a missing OH boy after a triple murder and stabbing.

Victims' names are not being released at this time pending identification and notification of family. The sheriff's office says releasing further information would compromise the investigation.

The incident started at about 7:22 p.m. when the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office was called to a residence at 15497 SR 93 in Pedro.

An extensive search for Holston - who lived at the first residence - did not turn up the child.

A search of the woods near the scene was conducted and Devin was not found. Devin has been entered into NCIC as a missing endangered child.

"The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has been contacted and is assisting the sheriff's office in the search for this child", Lawless said.
