The tech behind the delivery pouch is made from the same type of material of space blankets, winter jackets, and home insulation.

The limited edition Pizza Parka is tied in with the launch of their new thermal-equipped delivery system, which incidentally shares the same materials as the jacket. The pizza box itself features thicker sides to keep heat from escaping and the pizza in place throughout the delivery process. They have hired almost half of the 14,000 drivers that expected to by the end of the year and have implemented their proprietary delivery network algorithm, a multi-faceted technology system that drastically improves the accuracy and reliability of Pizza Hut deliveries across all 6,300 U.S. Pizza Hut restaurant locations.

Pizza Hut's new pizza parka is making its rounds on the internet this week.

Like the sneakers, they'll only be releasing a limited amount of jackets to the public, and Twitter is totally on board.

The delivery pouch, which includes Thinsulate in the first layer, has a PET aluminum radiant barrier layer to reflect the pizza's heat back into the pie, along with layer No. 3 that locks in heat with a pink fiberglass insulation, the release said.

The chains says a brand new delivery system will keep its pizzas 15 degrees hotter when it's delivered.

Customers can only get a parka in during October as it is National Pizza Month. The delivery system is being updated as well and, using an algorithm, can account for things such as weather, construction, traffic, and other irregularities in the delivery pattern. You can also tweet to enter. The program is rooted in the foundation set by the Pizza Hut BOOK IT!
