Honor 6C Pro with Android 7.0 Nougat, 3GB RAM announced

Unlike the V9 Play, it has only one RAM variant.

Huawei's sub-brand, Honor has launched a new smartphone in Europe, dubbed as Honor 6C Pro. On Thursday, October 12, the company launched the Honor 7X dual-camera smartphone in Beijing. The phone lacks a physical home button as it comes with on-screen buttons. The handset has been made official in Russian Federation, as yet there are no details on how much it will cost.

This phone incorporates fingerprint sensor on the back.

On the camera front, the Honor 5C Pro sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flashlight, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The additional 2 MP cameras on each of the side have the power to create the depth-of-field effect a.k.a bokeh effect.

Talking about the display, the Honor 6C pro will feature a 5.2-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels. However, not all may like EMUI if they are a stock interface lover.

Keeping the lights on is a decent 3,000mAh battery and the device runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 SoC with Mali T860 GPU and 3GB RAM. Well, guess what, the specs of the device are nearly identical to that of the Honor V9 Play.

While it's not a huge letdown, it doesn't offer a type-C port rather uses standard micro USB, there's also a 3.5 mm headphones port and loudspeakers at the bottom. The tray is hybrid so you can either choose the SIM2 as microSD for storage expansion. The device features a single SIM card slot with 4G LTE and VoLte capability.
