Sergio Aguero: I'd love to see Lionel Messi join Manchester City

Argentinian star footballer Sergio Aguero's possible return in Manchester City after the fatal injury could be the much-needed push for the club to retain the top spot on the points table of the Premier League after the last game victory against Stokes City on Saturday.

The City striker missed the game as he continues his recovery from a fractured rib suffered in a auto crash in Amsterdam.

However, just 11 days later he was involved in light training at the club's Eastlands complex with those players not involved in worldwide fixtures.

Sergio Aguero has said he would "love" Lionel Messi to join him at Manchester City but acknowledged that it would be hard for his compatriot to leave Barcelona.

The 29-year-old traveled to the Netherlands on a day off but was involved in an accident as a passenger.

Midfielder Fabian Delph also took part in Tuesday's session having recovered from a minor knock sustained against Chelsea which forced him to pull out of the England squad. "He said, "I don't believe so", he told TyC Sports.

"Then one thinks 'why did I [go]', but it's hard to imagine that something like that could happen".

Aguero spoke to Messi after his hat trick for Argentina secured qualification for the World Cup.

"I still do not know if I am going to play on Saturday. (On Thursday) I'll rejoin the group and see how I feel, whether I'm comfortable or not".

Meanwhile, Aguero dismissed reports that he is set to join AC Milan, with City said to be chasing Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.
